Hammers have come a long way from the prehistoric days of hitting something with a rock. A good example is this hammer from Gedore, with its forged steel head and its hickory handle, which is shaped with a protective steel sleeve. But that's what you'd expect from a company that's been producing tools since 1919 in Germany's "tool city," Remscheid.
- Forged hammer head made from high-quality special steel
- Black epoxy powder-coated
- Contoured hickory handle is additionally shaped with a long hardened handle protective steel sleeve
- The tapered collar, fixing plate and wood screw bond the hammer head and the handle into one unit
- Length: 310 mm
- Weight: 510 g
